University of the West Indies (UWI) Fund

The most affordable investment option on the market for large families. An investment of $150,000 for a family of 6 or more persons. This investment entitles one member of the family to a one-year tuition only scholarship at the University of the West Indies. Attendance to the university is not mandatory to maintain citizenship.

Applicants to the Citizenship by Investment Programme who choose this option will be required to make an investment of US$150,000 for a family of six (6) or more (i.e. the minimum number of persons per application is 6). Entitles one member of the family to a one-year scholarship, tuition only, at the University of West Indies.
The University of the West Indies (UWI) was established in 1948 and is the largest and longest standing education provider in the Caribbean. The UWI serves the Caribbean region by offering high quality research and educational facilities across the Caribbean region. The eligibility requirements of the new UWI Fund Option are the following: The new UWI Fund investment option is only available for families consisting of at least six (6) members. The required investment amount inclusive of government processing fees is of USD $150,000. An additional donation of USD $15,000 applies for each additional dependent. Standard Due Diligence fees are applicable.

Participation in such a fund entitles one member of the family to a one year scholarship at the University of the West Indies (UWI).

Process & Timeline:

Step 1

Obtain invoice detailing all fees associated with the submission of your UWI investment application.

Step 2

Preparation of application forms, collection of supporting documents (notarization and certifications).

Step 3

A complete review of your citizenship application by our licensed CIP agent.

Step 4

Submission of documents for bank due diligence.

Step 5

Submission of application to the Citizenship by Investment Unit. Submission Fees due.

Step 6

Approval by the Citizenship by Investment Unit issued within 3 months of submission of application.

Step 7

Final invoice issued (Investment payment and remainder of government fees due).

Step 8

Passport and Certificate of Registration (COR) issued within 1 month after making investment payment.

Step 9

Passports and CORs couriered.
